 A display in the school foyer tokonoma for Hina matsuri, the doll festival. I didn't realise the shutter speed was so slow until after I'd taken the photo - my policy is to try to take only one photo of each subject, except if exprimenting with different f-stops and whatnot.

Pentax MZ-30, plus original zoom lens that won't go below about 38mm. Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 400.

this has almost a painted effect to it. especially the object on the left against the slightly out of focus and textured blue background. Interesting shot.
