 Another view of the Queen Victoria statue in Ballarat. We have all these banners in the main street and they are changed according to what is going on. I don't know why these come to life ones are up at Christmas, as they don't seem very Christmassy. Anyway there are actually four of them around the Queen and it just seems a bit optimistic to me!

LOL! Yeah, the juxtaposition is a bit odd, and one wonders how the folks would take it if she DID come to life! Good find.

A bit alarming, too? Do we really want to go back to Victorian ways?! And, not to put too fine a point on it, is she really going to be presentable in public after all these years, hmm? I don't think even Stephen King could dream up a plot like that ;-)
