I am having a hard time figuring out what is focused. Maybe the dog or nothing. Is this on purpose or not.

one of my ribbon picks - like the composition, panel framing/cropping, b&w ranges, misty feel and emotive quality.

What a fantastic natural fade. The bold black of the dog really anchors the eye and negates the tendancy to want to drift around the photo. This is one of my favorites.

I like this one somehow.It conveyse the challenge topic, but the unusal aspect ratio takes away at the same time. A little more space at top or bottom would support the message
