Okay...I think this one was vastly underated in this challenge. I love the golden lighting, the detail in the eyes and fur and the framing with the leaves. The square crop really brings the viewer's focus right to the animals face.

I missed this one in commenting. I think that's partially because I often go through and give the good shots good scores, and assume they'll get plenty of comments. :-) Great kitty pic - love the look in those eyes!

Great closeup of the eyes. The blurred leaves in the front are a little bit distracting, but not too bad. Good use of natural light.

Wow, Very nice shot. If this animal is in a zoo or cage you did an wonderful job making him look like he was in his natural habitat. eye are tack sharp. Hope you ribbon

I ike his position in the frame and his strong expression. Very good focus and sharpness. The light and shadow on his right ear is slightly distracting, but that is minor
