Wonderful character and a superb angle. Focus is just a bit too soft and lighting is also quite flat.

That tag on his ear disturbs me a bit, especially if this photo is intended for NG. Cropping wouldn't work well here but you might try cloning it out.

Now THAT'S a fur coat! Just kidding, the focus here seems just a touch soft for my tast and this type of subject. I would rather see it sharper. Nice colors!

While I like this hairy cow (reminds me a little on our dog :)) to me it is a little too tightly cropped at the top.
Nice colours and well focused though.

Nice shot. Guess you were able to "sneak" up on this guy, because he couldn't see you anyway.....

So cute. I wish I could see her eyes better and her nose was cleaner, but I suppose she wouldn't let you get in close to groom her? Just seeing that partial eye on the left sorta spoils the picture. Worth trying to get some more pictures, though.

this would be great except for the bit of extra grain, could be clearer - but nice framing.

Cropped to close for such a cute cow.

Almost a classic, this. If it weren't quite so obvious only ... still scores well for me. There's a slight lack of definition however - a scattery kind of pixelation (almost) to the hair, almost an impressionistic thing rather than a great problem. 8

I just love these animals (what a look!). Nice composition, not tack sharp, none the less still a nice photo. Good Job.

Like how you filled the frame with this shot, maybe add a little more sharpening to bring out the hair? Nice shot.

Great photo. Good Luck. Wish she had a Veronica Lake hairdo, so I could see one of her eyes.

Yep, this in NG! Great hairy forehead and snout. Nicely centered. Dark in lower left is the only small negative. Well done 10 - one of my picks for a ribbon

if one was to vote by thumbnails this would be a 10. Must say dissapointed to find it's so out of focus and soft looking. For everything else though it's 10's all the way ;) Great subject and superb composition. I really enjoy people filling the frame.

He might have brushed his hair..... :-)

Nice shot here, good how it fills the whole frame. Definately a good choice for the challenge! 9

I love this cow...he's got some wild hair! Did you comb it like that down over his eyes or is that how it is naturally? Anyway great shot, only think I would have done differently is maybe clone the graw out of his hair to the right of his mouth since there were opening editing rules, Good luck!
