My friend was very willing to try this out, I do like how it turned out, even though I know that there are 2 things I could have done better to get a better score. One would have been to use a higher aperture to boost the DOF, and the second would have been to place an external flash to the bottom right of the frame. Unfortunately I don't have an external flash, and the lighting was low so using a higher aperture would have required a tripod which I didn't have with me.

Fly is too 2-dimensional. Red on nose is not flattering.

Interesting idea, but the focus is either too narrow or is off altogether; with more light and a higher f-stop to bring in some sharpness, this might have worked, but without it doesn't work for me.

Definately unique. Too bad you couldn't overlay two photographs, for a real effect! I like your creativity!

Great idea! The fly should be sharp for this photo to be really great (deeper dof) and you have to get read of those shadows.
