First Impressions: Very nice skyline composition

-------------------------------------------------------------

Composition: Great capture of the skyline. The building on the left is a bit of a distraction. Too flat in a photo of lots of subjects. Also, there is too little of the field. This becomes a distracting element that keeps gnawing on me.

Subject: I would have expanded the view of the baseball field. There is so little as to make it irrelevant, but since it is so prominent it becomes mentally distracting.

Technical (Colour, focus, and light): Colors are nice. Sky tones and reflections especially. Good contrast. I'd say the shot is overall a bit too dark though.

-------------------------------------------------------------

To improve?: Try to brighten, perhaps dodge/bur a little. Expand the view a bit.

Summary: A rather unusual and interesting skyline shot with an added touch with the baseball game. Enjoyable. Well done but with room for improvement.

It seems as though you are trying to put more of the buildings in the shot than the subject (baseball field). Maybe cropping out some of the sky would put more focus on the subject. Otherwise, great clarity for a night shot. 6 Overall.

Wow! Talk about a powerful on camera flash. You can see the flash in the Arch. :-) Seriously, nice night shot of Busch Stadium. Well composed and well exposed.

I am struggling to 'see' the electricity in this shot. I am not sure if its supposed to be the electric atmosphere of the crowd or the electricity of the lights. Either way neither of these stand out in this shot. Ignoring the challenge title I do like the buildings in the background, really interesting :o)

Love the richness in all the dark tones. Nothing is lost in total darkness. And your highlights are wonderful accents to the whole. Really well done.

Great idea and picture...wish I could see more of the field instead of so much sky. I love the inclusion of the arch. I found myself searching the signs to find out what stadium it was, when all I had to do was look up (or down to the centerfield green space).

To me, it looks like a daytime shot that has been darkened. Most obviously is the sun's reflection on the arch, the lights are not shining on the playing field and no lights on in the buildings or signs. Sorry if I'm wrong...good luck.

I love the idea of the shot...not sure why the lights seem so dull. For example the bulbs on the light stand look the same as the folks in the crowd. Hope you team won. I would try this shot again sometime.

The electricity is very subtle in this one and its hard to tell that the lights are even on.

Would have been nice to have the electric lights brighter! Nice colors and lighting
