 White Henry ii from my garden, shot against a black background.

Cropped, rotated, burnt out spots, dodges the leaves to bring out the veins. Added two thin borders, saved for the web

Congratulations for "White Henry" - Never seen one before, nor a clematis quite like this - beautiful specimen. I agree w/ loriprophoto's comment about the way the background works on this - effective use & good result from the conventional black back. Isolates yet merges at the same time. Horizontal image flow accross the full width of the picture plane is wonderful composition. Great score too!

I like the way you have used the black background and the leaves almost blend into it while the stem and flower stand out giving it a nice 3D effect. One of my favorites in this challenge. Good luck.
