Oh, one of my favorite songs.
Oddly enough, I haven't been on DPC in a while, and I was listening to this song just now when I saw the challenge results.
Great photo, excellent use of lighting.

One of my two choices for top spot. Love the faint image of the face and the colour. Well done

The face reflection in the metal is really nice, but the big hot yellow spot in the lower left hand corner is distracting. I'd tone that way down to match the bottom right corner or similar to make the face and hammer receive all the visual attention.

Very nice both bold and subtle composition. Bump.

Superb! Love the texture and the colors. Effective composition. Might like to see just a bit more of the hammer but it's a personal opinion. Among my favorites this challenge.

Very creative. Too bad the light is reflected in the bottom left. 9

Using a new formula....
0-2 Meets the Challenge = 2
0-2 Technical Merit = 2
0-4 Interest/Creativity = 2
0-2 The "wow factor" = 0
Final score: 6

At first glance this didn't seem like much. But upon thorough inspection, so much more. I'd prefer it though, without the bright spot in the corner. Very nice!

I like the face in the bottom portion, even if it was not there purposefully.

Really well photographed. I wish the hammer really was silver, though.

Love the reflection - definitely getting a higher score for that. One thing: should have cloned out the specs at the top while you have this rare chance at advanced editing. Great shot!

NOTE.... I'm looking at the image first and tyrying to guess the title. If I can't guess, I can't give high marks :-(

workes well, though could ahve found a bloke called maxwell to bring the hammer down up on his head !
