 After I spent all Saturday afternoon outside shooting flowers, I came home and took a few shots of vodka with my friend Andrey; then I looked at his hands and was suddenly stricken by a new idea. I placed a piece of black cloth over his hands and took just a few shots with a camera on tripod and flash bounced from the ceiling.

I love it, would have preferred more scratched up callused hands. But its in my favourites. Simple wicked!

Very professional... but even with the desaturation I'm not sure that the yellow is the main subject here. Still meets the challenge though. Good image.

Beautifully done. I love the fact the detail is in the hands as well as the flower, with neither blown or underexposed. Look forward to seeing how you handled the desat of the hands.

I don't generally like selective desat but the contrasts here are great. My only nitpick would be that I'd like a bit more room on the top of the photo. Nicely done.
