I can pretty much assume that this was almost every single kid's dream in the year 1988. I know it was mine. Today I have a collection of over 600 games.

NES has by far the best games ever made, still to this day. Great photo.

Part of the problem with the photo is the harsh "flash" noticeable on certain cartridges (OMG took me a second to remember what those are called) combined with shadows that make other cartridge titles difficult to see.

IMO the photo is ok. I remember being overwhelmed the first time I saw it...it's very "busy". Some creative lighting may have given this a boost. For this to work we didn't need to see all of the details on every game cartridge. Just needed to know what they were. Maybe a low angled light that lit up the Mario game and some cartridges diagonally, then let the rest fall into shadows?

This picture is fantastic. It'd make a great poster. I know plenty of 80's babies that would smile big at seeing this picture.

I've seen so many photos in this contest and yours is the first one that I have come across that actually seems to work for this contest. Now I'm afraid to ask, are you still stuck in the eighties? ;)

woo hoo for nintendo games!!!!! aww... i want my old nintendo back.
I really like how you have one game standing up. I think that adds a bit more interest that if you just had them all stacked.

Great idea. I was trying to do something similar, but I gave up after a while.

You got it to work though.

It is a cultural trademark of that time, good one.
