Photo works because of the bottom (respectfully disagree with a few comments) as it provides the needed perspective (without it few would have seen the challenge connection)

Greens pop in the light -- shadow on lower trees disturbs my eye but adds a creative element that breaks up the composition. Like the border and the crop. Scored it a 5 (only because I took a couple of points off because a limited fit with the challenge -- I felt more leaves than wooden)

Earth from the air indeed! I'd have been more happy without the lower features - not sure they add scale or contrast

Now there's a unique perspective. Luxuriant greens, Nice shot!

I have a hard time with the orientation of this shot. I can't tell what's going on (which end is up, etc..).

I would have cropped the field out

Great image! The top looks like a macro of brocolli (just me, I'm sure), but then the bottom makes it clear. I like the clarity that you got at such a long distance.

Maybe a little less dark would have been perfect, but the composition, and the angle of course, are very good and stand out among the crowd.
