I'd have preferred it if you'd included a bit more of the tree.

I think the palm tree is perhaps a little too small in this shot. Focus is quite good and the tree is almost completely black - which is very good.

The lighting in this picture came out very nice. The tree being black also brings intrest. Nice Work

Very nice! Great color, good placement of the subject, and nice separation from the background. Because we read left to right, it often works best to put the subject at the right side of an image. However, in this case having the subject on the left works to your advantage. The eye immediately locks on to the subject, but then wants to continue scanning, which introduces it to the wonderful background.

Composition: Maybe crop tighter on the tree?
Technical: Nice focus and contrast. Nice choice to stay without a border I think.
Overall impression: Meets the challenge well buts lacks slightly for me personally on the composition front.. 6

I like the sunset and the tree but dont like how it is placed in the frame. It needs more trunk rather than being stuck down in the corner like it is. 7

Obviously, you were in the right place at the right time for this one. I'm left thinking that I'd like to know what is just a little lower on the horizon. It creates a tension in me as I view this but the placement of the palm is excellent.

Beautiful sunset and very artistically presented with the way you place the tree in the corner. I love it.

Fantastic sky..not crazy about the crop. Less to the top, more on the bottom. These colors and the composition almost make up for the crop, I do like your shot very much.
