 If this wasn't a lucky shot...

I was wandering about with framing on my brain when what landed right in front of me but this robin - landing right on an oddly wide tree trunk thing. Holy cow a frame. My camera came out fast enough, and I was able to shoot away. Boy was this little guy/gal patient with me.

My mom is a huge fans of robins too - so hopefully she'll enjoy this shot even if it doesn't score well.

Interesting framing, but the bird is so hard to see in the b&w image. Did it stand out more in color?
