I predict that "some" people will vote down things "they" don't consider to be wheels.
04/03/2004 11:25:04 AM · #5
what if the wheel might JUST HAPPEN TO BE..a dial?

wink wink....nothing to do with mine though.

Would you vote down on that?

I predict that most will choose a subject that is easily accessible. A few of those will make good shots of those subjects.

well I think a wheel is something that spins on a central axis.. so yeah.. .a dial is a wheel.. however i don't think you will win, because there will be enough people that think it is not a wheel... :S

Not entering...I've had no time to try and go out to find an 'original' photo without ending up with a bike or car...

I predict there will be at least one entry of crayons/pencils in the form of a wheel with shallow depth of field.

I predict those who shot a picture of a wheel will vote down any other idea as being off topic. I further predict that those who felt they should stretch themselves to find a creative approach will vote down any shot of a wheel as too predictable. So it will be up to those who didn't submit to figure out who is right.

Who cares if it's a bike, car, wagon, if it's a great picture.

Note: Will not enter. No original idea. Most likely that fellow DPCers can come up with a better quality shot of a bike, car, wagon, etc :P

I have an idea or two..missing an acceptable prop for idea 1, but idea 2 may not fit the wheel idea well enough to, umm, succeed.

So, how does one make a great pic? A great pic of a so-so idea, even it scores lower than wanted, would give one a sense of success.

Every challenge someone complains that here we go again, predicting pictures of crayons, water drops, kids, flowers, etc. that have been done "over and over." You know what? So what? Maybe the person who submits it is doing it for the first time and maybe they're trying to do it as good as YOU did it some other time. We all learn from others.

Think I'll buy a wheel of cheese, Gouda cheese and give it to a guy who needs it.

Call it "Gouda Wheel to Man"

OK, maybe not.......

as good as me??? lol I'm just learning. The only things I shoot on a normal basis is animals. I have only entered 4 challenges including this one and I won't enter unless I feel its original.

i predict a wheel silouhetted by a burning candle,
a slightly blurred spinning wheel [from previous challenge],
an orange wheel in the middle of black wheels,
an entry entitled wheel [probably mine],
some smurfs holding up a wheel,
a wheel inbetween someones butt,
a wheel with the sun setting/rising on it....

I predict the winner of the wheels contest will live in England, London to be exact, with a capture of the giant Ferris Wheel there. It's just not fair.

I was going to use a picture of the London Eye, but thought that to would be to obvious :) plus if anyone else took one; the pictures may get voted down for being un-original :) or going and taking the same picture that someone else had taken :0)
