Does anyone where to buy sharpness charts (if that's what they are called) which you photograph for testing the sharpness you your lens? |

I'd suggest contacting someone at DPReview.com, where they use such items for testing, or else a large camera vendor like B&H Photo ... |

Edmund Optics has everything you could ask for here.
Bob Atkins has a good article on testing and downloadable, printable-in-hi-res here.

The old standard for resolution test charts was the USAF 1951 chart, as described by Mil-Std-150. There are several available on the internet that you can print. The new standard target is the ISO 12233 target. A printable version is available at //www.graphics.cornell.edu/~westin/misc/res-chart.html. The earlier posts provide very useful lens testing information. The ISO target was designed specifically for resolution testing using digital cameras.
