Nope rather poorly expressed on my part, with a 35mm I could have cropped the photo to a better composition ... it was a picture of the moment and based on my recent experience I can't help feeling that for pictures taken without time enough for carefull composition then a somewhat wider field of view probably suites best. |

I have voted on 58% and have been overall, pretty disappointed. So many quick snapshot images that make me think "this is your best?" Rather than hand out a bunch of low scores, I may stop where I am now. :( Having said that, there are a few standouts and I was so happy to see them and give high votes.

Why shouldn't you hand out low scores if you are disappointed? Your opinion is valid and should be part of the scoring. |

I have to think that this is first and foremost about what I'm trying to do. If I tank on a score, is that what's important, or is the image itself important?
I just had a 4.9553 in a challenge, 12-1s, and I just didn't care. It was an OOB entry, and I got punished for it. Is the image bad? No. Was it risky? Hell yeah! Did I love it? Frickin' A!!! I win! LOL!!!
As long as people get whiny and mad at trolls, they'll continue, just to be trolls.
I just toss a meaty bone under the bridge every now and then and ignore 'em......8>)
