So, why is everyone in such a foul mood this AM? I wake up and my score is a 6.4xxx(can't remember the last three)...in three votes it drops to 5.9583????

I have absolutely no idea what it takes to please the voters.
I figured this for a high 4 'cause I really liked it.

| I will say this...the whole last week, my "new" score hovered around 5.8 area...and then finished at 6.0343...it hit 6.0000 sometime on Tuesday, while I wasn't looking. Nothing like a last minute rally! |

Realy tempted to hit the self dq button, I wasnt happy with it in the first place and was a first attempt at this type of photo and a rush as I did it in the last hour before the challenge closed :S

There are many photos which in my opinion, do not meet the challenge.
"Use a single, artificial light source to dramatically light the subject of your choice."
There are many photos with natural light, and some with multiple light sources. |

Completely surprised this morning. I was hoping to hit a 6.0 with this one. It is a long week.....just might get that 6.0 I was hoping for. :0) Looks like my voters had sex last night and their coffee this morning. LOL

I don't care about the score really, I LIKE IT, that is enough.
I know it is frustrating to get knocked from a 6.8 to a 5.2 but at least some people at some time thought it good enough for a 10. |

I just got bumped below the 6 mark. =P And a couple have questioned whether it is in fact a single light source. Intriguing, that.
Ah well - I'll take Mak's perspective - some folks thought it was a 10, and I like it! What else matters! =) |
