A year ago I brought forth my love for you in this media. I declared to the world how much you mean to me. How you are my world. This was my gift to you.
Since then, I have not been perfect. I have tried to be more of the man that you would have me be. Have I been successful? Yes at times. Other times I have been weak. All times I tried to think of you first. Sometimes I was successful, other times weak. Though I strive to be perfect in your eyes, I'm still just a man. Sometimes strong, sometimes...
The last few weeks have been hard on you. I made a decision that effected us both. I made that decision all by myself. The uncertainty that I have put you through may not have been fair to you. The fear of what the future holds. Through most of this time you have been much stronger than me. You supported me. You held me up. I could tell that you were scared. Perhaps more scared than me. But you remained strong. You kept up a good front. You remained the glue that held this family together through a time of uncertainty. For that I love you more today than I did two weeks ago. Two weeks from now I will love you even more.
A year ago I told the world how much I loved you. This year I give you myself. Perhaps more of myself than either you or I would have bargained for. We will be working together five days a week. But more importantly than that, for at least five nights a week we will have a real family.
I love you more than you can imagine.
I love you more than I would have imagined.

I was ever so happy to read your post Ron, it truly is an inspiration to all of us to see that some men have no problems openly expressing their love.
Your words brought back to mind a wonderful french expression that I heard many years ago, and which still holds a very special meaning for me:
"Je t'aimes plus qu'hier, et moins que demain" ... "I love you more than yesterday... and less than tomorrow."
Thank you ever so much for sharing and rekindling those feelings for me, I truly do appreciate it.
