Canon 35D Pics? Found this in another forum..

Who knows if it is real or not, of course that is the debate right now. I personally think it is. I can't wait to hear the specs on it. I may end up selling my 300D and a couple lenses to get it and keep my 20d as a back-up. We shall see!!!! I hate the waiting!!!

Something isn't right about the light falling on the left of the camera and grip (right of the picture of the "35D"). The camera is a lot darker than the grip.

I think it is a Photoshop...

Hmmmmm, I see your point. The light on the grip, though, might be the light being bounced off the paper.

There were so many people picking apart the photos of the 5D when it was still rumor, but most of those photos (at least the ones I saw) were actual photos of the camera...who can say for sure!

I hope it's real, but I wish someone had a photo of it with a price tag! I'd love to upgrade, but at 20D prices, I'd have to mortgage my soul or something... Life of a college student man, no money.

looks like the 20D's replacement is going to be called 35D, perhaps to avoid confusing it with the old D30.
Two seperate photos of the same camera. I figure, Canon is starting to leak photos and soon specs of the camera a week or so before the official release and we can start to argue whether the photos and specs are real or fake till the offical press releas.

The text is in Chinese and says clearly at the end that nothing is confirmed. It also says that is clear the name 35D and the dif in shape which makes it "almost reliable"

My guess is that it's same as the intro price of the 10D and the 20D, at $1500.
BTW, the shadows on the two cameras are different b/c I think they are two seperate shots of the 35D and a 20D which was just pasted together into one shot.

Now I know they're fake, the silver thing is the promotional book for the 5D (at least here in Japan). I doubt Canon would put out a camera with the same promotional materials...

They start coming down a few months before the new one is introduced. Right now, the 20D is going for about $1200, but it has always been just about $1400 or so most of it's product life. With the popularity of this class, I don't think the price will drop by much, if at all for about a year.
