Hey, today's the 1-year anniversary of the first challenge I entered (don't know if that's closing date or opening, but same difference).
I have been in 34 challenges over the year. I prefer topics that are more open, or technique based, because I just don't have the imagination some of you do (like scalvert, ericlimon, and graphicfunk, to name a few!) for the topical ones! I think I used to, but I must have used it up ;-) |

Honestly, I rarely have time to work hard enough to create a ribbon-winner. My goal is to have an interesting interpretation and see if others agree with me. If it was a "real job" I'd take more time and not have a one-week limit, so if the idea is interesting, I figure I'll recreate it if it really seems worthwhile.
I've probably had about 3-5 photos I legitimately felt were possibly ribbon-worthy, although the voters largely disagreed. |

42 including the two that I am in right now...all since march so on average...Six challeneges a month..not bad! Looking forward to learning more and entering a lot as well!

38 since "outdoor macro shot" on 2/26/2002. there was a time back then that i tried to submit to every challenge, but i just don't shoot as much anymore. trying to get back into it, though!

| This is my first one (communication) not doing to well but it is fun to actually be in a challenge for รก change. Been lurking around in hera for a long time and learning a lot on the way. |
