Plate Umpby Man_Called_HorseComment by tootsweet: This is a wonderful attempt at an environmental portrait. He is aware that you are shooting it. There is enough information from the environment to define the subject, it is authentic. I wish the sun weren't giving you so many shadows of the face, and I would have loved to see everyone in "action" so to speak. |

Walking To Practiceby Man_Called_HorseComment by spencerwood: Nice and sharp, good low light, uncomplicated background. The only thing I'm not sure about is the composition. Given he is looking to the left it might have been worth plaing him to the right of the image looking into the empty space on the left |

Walking To Practiceby Man_Called_HorseComment by gjumi: Just a technical note: cutting ones head with the background line, which is going straight at his nose, is quite disturbing. Even the moderately shallow depth of field doesn't help here. Otherwise, technically very well realized photo. |

Calm Before The Stormby Man_Called_HorseComment by Lydia: Great framing... adding much interest to the photo... I wish there were a tad bit more light on the subject's face since the other lit areas are competing for the subject spot in the photo. |
