I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Great sense of texture here and articulation with the world. The marks are almost like a forensics story. I'm also intrigued by how flat it looks - the title implies a 3d structure but I struggle to discern it.

Critical stuff: Minimal in the extreme - I don't think it has enough visual critical mass to get going.

Overall: Bold FS entry.

wonderful textured landscape of animals, trees and distant country houses buried in the snow. A great addition to the bvy collection (if your are not bvy, then take it as a compliment).

Fascinating. Great illustration of how to find beauty and interest in the most unpropitious of places. Photographically, it's fabulous ΓΆ€“ a meticulous drawing sketched with a camera. 10, thank you, and please accept an Order of the Thumb.
