 Six minutes before sunset. No long wavelength light, but still a dramatic sky. Very windy day, which generated an awesome mountain wave cloud east of the continental divide. There were a lot of lenticular clouds around today, too. 11/18/10 These were the best clouds of the week.

Converted to b&w because I had good tonal range. The yellowish colors of sunset and the variety of blues were distracting. I exposed for the sky and clouds, which caused the mountains to be mostly silhouettes with some evidence of snow. It is a challenge for clouds, so the clouds are the subject, given context by the land base.

Nice Lenticular clouds of Long's. Color would have been much better to me though
