Greetings from the Critique Club.
First impressions are of the vivid colours.
Technically this is ok, good detail, composition works and the subject is nicely balanced.
Artistically this is good but it just boils down to a close up of a flower. It's hard to be artistic with close ups like this though.
In summary a good shot that would have done well had the challenge not said "no flowers".

compose a photograph somehow related to the garden. Here's the catch... the main subject of your photograph may NOT be a flower.
Beautiful picture---I hope it's not disqualified because the main subject is a picture of a flower. |

| You are probably seeing a lot of DNMC (does not meet challenge) because of the main focus being a flower. It's very pretty though. |

| I'm very sorry... It's a little hard to vote low on this because it is a nice shot. However you did fail to follow the instructions of the challenge. If I was the client and you had the scope of work for this photo shoot as detailed, I would not pay for the work and I probably wouldn't call again for future work. Great shot though! Too bad... |

| In the garden, but doesn't fit at all with the challenge guide. The photo is well composed, but I am not keen on the background (a table top, perhaps) thta just comes in at the bottom of the frame. |
