 Male Mountain Bluebird takes flight after a long migration. A celebration of the return to nesting grounds in the Rockies.

The image is a direct representation of one of the lines of lyrics of the referenced song in the challenge description. Those who found this to dnmc were being unfairly punitive. A bluebird lifting off from a perch at the moment between rest and flight is an excellent representation of time. Shame on all of you who voted this down because it didn't show a clock.

Lovely, but what does this have to do with time slipping into the future? I think you should have saved it for Free Study.

Awesome capture! Congratulations on a beautiful image! The right wing (image left) and face are nice and sharp. The simplicity of composition is great, with no distractions in the background, and no other bold colors to distract from the wonderful blue of the bird. The space in the direction the bird is facing is good, it balances the image.

Wonderful capture, but what's the connection to Time? Did I mention it's a very nice photo yet? :) A keeper for sure. Great focus and clarity, nice freezing of motion, and the aperture chosen blurred out the bg perfectly. Well done (on the photo part). Good luck in the challenge.

A beautiful shot. 1 am not sure if it meets the challenge but l don't care it is too good to mark down=9 A little more DOF on the lower wing and it would be perfect

Okay......I gotta give you a 10 'cause this is a terrific shot and at first I thought,"WTF does this have to do with time?", then I remembered the lyrics that start the challenge......very good!
