Several variations included in the notes.

Or one of these, perhaps?

Suggestions as to what to shoot for this month to please a few more of you? :-)

The small building peaking out next to the tall in the center from the clouds is the one in the challenge. People asked me to improve contrast on the entry, but it was maxed out on my lightroom already... The fog around the building was just too strong or my editing skills just too weak. Probably the latter....

All from a recent trip to Syria. Only had one evening to choose and edit (didn't get back until 31st) so I was not sure I made the best choice. Did OK though.

I chickened out. Had this originally in the queue for Free Study 2010-03 ==>

Instead I went safe (thought it was anyway) with this ==>

I probably should start thinking about challenge entries again instead of just grabbing shots here and there, eh? :-)

He-he. Probably would've scored a LOT higher here on DPC than your entry; although I still would've scored your portrait entry higher than ANY splash shot.

I'd like to rename this thread "Oh no I forgot to enter again, oh well here's what I would have put in...".

Not quite as catchy perhaps.

He-he. Does seem to be a reoccurring theme for you, eh? :-)

This should teach me to enter something safe and not so artsy.

...not that this has any resemblance to my actual entry but I pulled it at the last minute. I had thought about entering it in the Fine Art challenge too, but didn't.

Steve, yours was a no-brainer! Gave your entry a 10 - that one's a "keeper" for sure.

This is my entry...

I had the hardest time trying to figure out what to do for it. :(
