On behalf of ursula, RKT, Bear_Music, posthumous and pawdrix I want to thank each and all of you for welcoming and contributing to a difficult challenge such as this. It hasn't been easy, but I think, we have all enjoyed the challenge to tax our senses and to do something a little different -and this, hopefully, with some gusto. As many of you have already expressed a strong interest in a continuance of the Fine Arts challenge, we sincerely hope that the experience of Exhibit I proves it is worth the effort.

After much deliberation, discussion and back-and-forth, the jury has now come to a decision. The final results, which will be published shortly, embody our very best efforts at consensus, as well as some degree of good will to hammer out a process that can endure conflicting views and sensibilities.

Stay tuned…

Well, I have to be honest, I'm really anxious to hear the results, and not because of my image, mine finished where I expected, but I felt there were 5-10 images that were severely underrated and I hope that their owners are rewarded... It honestly makes me want to post something in the Posthumous thread, in fact, maybe I will create my own award to give out. :)

If the jury has already come to the result (which it should have), why don't you post it? Unhappy with the official result?
Just asking...

They wanted the official ribbon winners to have some time to bask in their shameless popularity glory ;P

Looking through the entries and comments, it's wonderful how we all see things so differently. One mans junk is another mans treasure!

Wow, I gave the top 10 an average vote of 2.5 - just shows ya that what I think is art is not what most of you think it is. I guess that's why when an artist wins lot's of money for a pile of rubbish I can't understand it - I guess on DPC it's win the blue.

PS: no offence to the blue winner here - it was one of my top picks (don't tell but I gave it a 7).

Would the jury's result take anything of that away? I mean, it's just a bunch of self-assigned art experts...

What a strange thing to seemingly make a fuss over. It's only a few hours wait. It makes total sense for them to wait a bit as many people like to go over the challenge results and add extra comments and congratulations etc. It seems amazingly petty to be unhappy with that i'd say

So, what did you say would change if the results of the jury were published now? You sayin' no more comments can be added or images looked at after the jury's decision?
BTW, I could wait til doomsday.
