Hey guys,
I'm Mike, 26yo, and still a lousy amateur in terms of DP :)
My favorite photography themes are "usual items" like bottles, cans, glasses and stuffs like that :>
Hope to learn maaaaaaany things here to improve my non-existant skills :))

I hope you have a lot of time on your hands cause this site definitely sucks you in. As for the lousy photographer claim - dubious. I would recommend jumping in with some challenges. The forums are also great place to seek help/feedback on individual photos if something is bugging you...

Welcome Mike. Look for or start a side challenge - those are immensely helpful at improving without pressure and rules of the official challenges. There's a "Pick Your Own" thread going on right now you could jump into. I did one of those a couple years ago and picked "Vessels and Containers" as my chosen theme (not that you have to pick a theme) - sounds like something you would be up for.
Enjoy all that is DPC, but as others indicated, it is an addiction. |
