Anybody interested in such a thing? Robots, woodies, godzillas, bobble-heads, anything quirky, nothing too cutesy...
Can be moody

Can be joyful

Can be complex

Can be twisted

Can be digitally enhanced

Can be real

No rules, post when you can, comment when you can, blur, overlays, digital art, anything welcome!

Any takers?? Also, feel free to jump in at anytime even if you are not on the list :-)

cgino can you count me in for 'whenever I can' and I'm just going to go with 'Toys' as the Mama of two I have so many lying around and you just KNOW I'll be post processing!

Please forgive me in advance if they are a bit cutesy - as you call them, I try to grunge them up somewhat!

I've had this doll since I was 5 - she ROCKS my retro world!
02/24/2010 01:44:52 PM · #11
Heck yeah. I am always using dolls and stuffed animals as props to test lighting techniques!

wonder if anyone knows who this weird doll is and has the chance to get a shot of him to enter

BTW, ebay is a great place to buy robots. I would never find them in my 9K population small town, and I am WAY too lazy to drive to Albuquerque...I can offer some ebay vendor suggestions if anyone is interested.

Yes, I have several EBay robots from 5-10 years ago. Some of them were in good, working condition and quite expensive. I had them free-standing on a high shelf and one day several came tumbling down and broke -- thereby increasing the value for those of you who have the same robots, no doubt!

I'm in.

Well, yeah man! bots who've seen battle are SO much more worthy! Sigh. Bring 'em ON!!! (please don't tell me you disposed of them :-( )

No, they're their on the island of lost Japanese toys. I'll have to bring them down and dust them.
