There are some more detailed posts of that floating around on the forum somewhere from awhile back. Definitely a cool (if not questionably useful) device though.

oh, Hellz yah...I'm in the market for a new camera (rolls eyes).
I think those that developed it were compensating for something...

Jesus, Jaime!

Why in h33l would you need 160mp if it takes 1s to take the picture? :p

Impressive though...

It's not a 1-sec exposure, it's a second of processing time. And some take longer, several seconds, depends what mode you use it in. So, basically, you can't run it in burst mode LOL, sports are out. But this is as extreme as it gets, currently, for digital landscape, architecture, panoramas. Note that it's using the same lenses that are used on view cameras, some really great optics are usable on this body/back combo.

Thanks Robert,

I didn't quite catch that :)

I guess the people who like a high fps count should not use this one :-D

Did you know if the human eye where to be measured in megapixles it would be roughly 264

When someone asks what kind of camera did you use I think this will be my new response, "Seitz 6X17 Digital". Can't wait to hear the responses when they google it!!!

Probably looks better when you print it the size of a house.
