Dayum! That was cool. The only minor letdown was to realize toward the end that trickery was involved. CG? Compositing? Dunno, but it's obviously not straightforward stop motion. Makes you go back and wonder how the cool time lapse was done. Blood, sweat, and tears? or CG?
Still, as far as the film goes...wonderful!
EDIT: OK, now I see the "full-CG" bit. Really? Totally computer rendered? I'd be quite impressed with that as well...

It is taking forever to load, and I am on limited bandwidth allowance here, so this is making me nervous.
Can someone please explain to me how to check the size of that video - or any other video/download for that matter - before I look at such things?
Windows 7, Firefox ..... anything else I need to add?
ETA: I tried right clicking here, there and everywhere, and looking at "properties", but can't find a size anywhere yet.

Yes it is a problem when a very internet-enthusiastic family only gets 25 GB a month (which includes downloads AND uploads). I have to be very careful these days, and would love to know how to check these things BEFORE I open them.
Maybe I need to start a thread to find the answer to this....

Wow... just, wow. To think that was all CG is just mind-blowing. Especially the images of the Milwaukee Art Museum, Brise Soliel opening, I'm quite familiar with the structure and I felt I was there.
I loved the abstract feel of the whole piece, and the way the music integrated with the visual experience was wonderful. I'm guessing I will be watching this more than a few times! Thanks for the link! |

Complete eyeball f**k...
Amazing work... bit self indulgent at times, but if I had an ounce of that talent then I would self-indulge. COnsidering the guy modelled,textures, animated and rendered its a great piece of work.. would almost put this in the "art" category.
