National Museum of the US Air Force, open daily 9 am to 5 pm, photography is allowed according to their web site. I have never been there, but I know people who have gone and they highly recommend it (assuming you are into planes). Admission is free. Other than that I know nothing about Dayton.

The Oregon District in Dayton is a very interesting and historic place. Might be a good place to shoot.

I have taken some shots there before and I came back with some cool shots. Worth a try.

Carillon Park with the Wright Flyer III if I remember right. I would most DEFINITELY go to the National Air Force Museum, it is simply amazing and if you don't do anything else, make sure you do that.

Also check out the Miamisburg Mound, it's pretty neat and you get a good scenic view of the surrounding Dayton area, it's beautiful. It's actually one of the tallest man made mounds in the US.

Thanks so much! Air force museum will be a blast, I'll post the results back here. And I'm already planning my next shoot for the springtime, "Grand Canyon National Park" I'm gonna check out Havasu Falls, Antelope Canyon, The Grand Canyon.

Good advice -- we have a lot of good microbrewery beers here and you would not want to waste your time drinking water. Definitely get hold of some Great Lakes Beer (made in Cleveland).

Didn't know they'd relaxed the drinking laws in the US.... :p

Ooops, sorry about that. In that case I will volunteer to do all of the beer drinking on his behalf. Coleman, you go spend all of your time with the photography -- much more wholesome.

Yeah, but every time I drank the water in Ohio...I got a case of what I call Ohio Ass...

Good call on the beer.
