If you use a program other than Internet Explorer or Netscape I need your help.

I've designed this webpage that will run off of a CD for my Yearbook. Can you open it up in your browser and tell me how it looks?

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Internet Explorer.

Edit: Yes, the Academic & Clubs and Sports pages don't work. Neither do the specific gallery pages. It's not complete yet, I didn't want/couldn't upload the photos, and I didn't want to put the names of our teachers on the internet. Then you could figure out where I go to school. ;)

I use Entourage for Mac OS 10.3, and it looks fine.

The red and blue borders around the links and content body don't show up in Mozilla Firefox. They are just gray.

everything works in Avant Browser, including red and blue borders.

On AOL 9/PC (similar to IE) I get the borders OK. The bottom (horizontal) scroll bar looks a little funny, and the window opens at a small size right now.

I had the same thing in Netscape. It's not too bad, considering that silver is one of our school colors. I may try using the hex #'s instead of just navy or maroon.

Thank you everyone! Such fast responders. ^_^

I saw a great disclaimer on a (working) website recently:

HTML-Compliant: No HTML standards were harmed in the construction of this web page.

I'm using Mozilla 1.6 and everything appears to be working fine.

The border colours might not be rendering correctly in Moz/NS due to some errors in your html (which MS is a bit lax about) - check out the result from the w3c html validator here.

Thanks for the link! I have self-taught myself HTML and don'tr eally know all the "rules." So, that is really helpful. This page ended up as a conglomeration of various things and it's the first time I've really worried about whether or not a website of mine displayed correctly in all platforms.

Safari as well, but white fonts on navy backgrounds for the links.

Oh, *nods* those are supposed to be there. I rather enjoy that little trick.

Okay, well I'll be working on this tonight and this weekend to get it up to speed. The table colors and all the problems on the site Manic gave me, as well as some other errors I found today when I matched it with the photo files. *sighs* At least it's a long weekend! I spent about 6 hours straight on this last night making the individual pages and designing them. ^_^

Just remember that when you've opened a tag (eg TR), then opened another (eg TD), you need to close the 2nd one (TD) before you can close the 1st (TR)... ;o)
