Hi,

I've been away from DPC (challenge-wise) for a while and have this question:

What are the limitations of using Lightroom in challenges? (mostly basic since I don't have a membership).

I imagine that the use of brushes would be a no-no, but what about other tools?

I searched for a similar topic but couldn't find it, if there is one please point me towards it :D I did find some views about the legality of using filters but nothing conclusive.

Thanks

Hey Valdo!

No vignettes. No post-processed ND filters.

In general don't play with individual pixels. Just overall image processing is permitted in basic.

Thank you Mark and Yannis!

Careful of any presets as some add a vignette.

Great I find this thread, as I was just thinking in creating one...

I still have a question. Can someone please clarify about theses adjustments:
- Recovery
- Fill Light
- Blacks
- Clarity
- Chromatic-Aberration
Are they valid?
Some, like "Clarity" and "Chromatic-Aberration", seem to play with pixels, even when applied to the whole image... or not?

The first 4 are all part of Adobe's RAW converter as well and definitely are legal in basic editing. Chromatic aberration I haven't used.
