Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Excellent choice - Crystal is one of the first photographers whose work I looked at closely when I first joined DPC.

A hearty welcome back to Crystal, who some of us remember as Jaded_youth. She is an IMMENSELY talented young photographer - do take a look through her portfolio. Heck, she can, should she so desire, outScalvert Scalvert. :-)
A few from her portfolio:
 - One of my personal favorites.
 - Had to include this one from our LONG walk to the zoo in Germany - we shot this guy for Timfy.

She is one of those folks that I only ran into on the site recently (Either I noticed a post in the forums, or she commented on one of my entries). When I had a look at her portfolio, I wondered "How could I have missed this person?". Great choice for some recognition.
This incredibly cute and unique triptych of her daughter is the first thing that grabbed my eye when I looked at her profile page.

Crystal is an amazing photographer, mother and wife! Hell I see her take some of these shots and still can't figure out how she comes out with the some of the stuff she does. What's funny is that I love her stuff so much she is one of the few photogs that I want to hang their work but she refuses to hang her own work in the house. Below are some of my favs
 one of those I help set up. I just did what she said and was thinking, this might be cool. Then when she showed me the shot I was like WTF! I love this shot so much
 simply beautiful
 I was standing right next to her and my shot looks like dogshit, she is a magician.
 I have always loved what she did with this.
 a simple yet striking shot of my girl
 just plain sexy
 one of our son's many, many action poses and she captured it fantastically
 I still can't believe she talked me into moving a bedroom set outside and setting it on the lawn! She must have given me that look two shots up :)

I got to know Crystal's work when she was a member of our IMAGENATION team. Crystal's
range is enormous - from whimsy:  to drama: 
and yes, Crystal can easily fight fire with fire! 
Nice to see her photography recognized.
