| gmail is upto 8gb almost - jeez - I am using roughly 1mb - i keep it pretty tidy as I have it IMAP`d to my iphone. |

i,ve only just started using gmail seems quiet good no spam gets through so far |

I'm using 7%. But when I get bored, I go back and delete old stuff that I don't need anymore. I was up to 10% at one point.

I have been using it forever, do a mass delete every now and then, never have come close to reaching even 20%. I have been using it since it was a beta. I don't use it for social though, I use it for work and family related stuff only.

I send a lot of stuff to myself on purpose for the explicit purpose of google-able storage. Informatoin and stuff. Then I just google search it to find the relevant info... I also e-mail myself my photos for backgrounds at work, so that's part of the space too. |

WOW I've never seen that before... And they advertise that you never need to delete another email again... You might think about contacting them just to make another server upgrade, hahaha |

That's 5 years worth of mails. I've directed all my other email addresses to my gmail, so it includes all my work emails, voicemails, databases, backups, graphics, sourcecode... just about everything.
Do you think I trust Google too much?!?!!?.... |

You need to check your spam folder occasionally. It's really strong and I've known some real e-mails to get moved into there that I needed to see. Work related e-mails, that I blamed my boss for not getting. *grin* |
