Funky Photoshop (CS4) behavior....

So, all of a sudden when I go to select any tool from the tools palette it has a different behavior than it used to. Currently, when I click on one of the tools it will give me the list of available tools under that button and I have to select one. Previously, it would just select that pictured tool and I'd have to hold the click for a second to get the list. I would like to get back to the previous behavior. Anyone know what may be going on and/or what setting I may have inadvertently changed? Thanks!

Guess I should have mentioned that I have already restarted Photoshop and the machine to no avail.

You can always go to photoshops preference screen and restore defaults

I guess I could try that as I haven't done a whole lot of customization. I'll hang out for a bit and see if there are any other options you guys can think of first.

It happened to me, CS3, maybe a year ago and I never did find out why. I'd love to know what setting would change it, but I ain't about to restore defaults and undo all my trial-and-error, LOL.

It sounds like your left and right button are switched ... left button normally gives what you used last ... right button shows you option to switch ... like for example blur to sharpen ...

Could be on another piece of software it switched it or maybe options on PS ... I haven't looked at that possibility yet ...

Try using the RIGHT mouse button and if it goes directly to the last function used without showing your options then you would KNOW you are right to left switched?
