Hello,
I have a full time career outside of photography that's going pretty well despite the downturn in the economy. However, photography has been passion/hobby for while now. Recently, I shot a few weddings for some a few close friends which consequently led to being asked by others to do their weddings. I'm tempted to take them up on their offers but unfortunately I feel I'm still lacking a lot of knowledge when it comes to shooting techniques, working with Photoshop, positioning lights/ strobes... etc. Everything I know has been self taught trial and error (a lot of error usually) ,reading forums (such as this one) and picking up tips here and there by searching the internet. Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and might be able to recommend any great books, videos, websites to take my skills to the next level. I'd love to take photography classes but my work schedule doesn't give me the flexibility to attend school on a regular basis. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Chris

Why not attend some local wedding photography seminars? They are usually only a few hours on the weekend and cover topics such as composition, lighting, post-processing, packaging photobooks, selling/marketing your business, etc.
