These where taken at a local Nature reserve all thoughts and comments are welcome, only editing done were resizing and a little usm.

Excellent details.Wonderful depth of field. What lens, settings?

Very nice captures. I really like both shots.

Did you try a vertical crop on these?

I think with the head feathers and long neck it calls for vertical do you agree?

It may make quite a difference IMHO.

Taken with the EF 70-200mm F/4 L lens and settings for both were 1/800sec at F 5.6 at iso 400.

I will give that a try, there has been no cropping done to the photos as yet, i was lucky and was able to stand within 2 meters of the baby peacock.

I like the whitespace created by the landscape format. Lovely shots. I like the first one best.

I don't know that I've ever seen a 'baby' peacock before. Thanks for sharing.
