Thanks for the link. I have a great shot to submit for this, just need to put a little more space next to the subject. BTW, it doesn't say $500.00 prize, it says price. I hope that's a typo on their site.

The price is what the client will pay for the selected image they choose to purchase. It is the compensation they set when posting the job. Good luck to you!

they pay the artist directly. In return, they gain full rights to the purchased image.


For most of us selling all rights to an image for $500 would be a good thing but of course you would no longer have the right to use the image for anything ever again!

Is that true, you give up ALL rights to the image?
What about those wedding photographers that give clients right to print the images and burn them full size images, are they not allowed to use the pictures on their own website?

As the photographer, you retain the right to use the image for personal use and include it in your portfolio, but nothing beyond that.

For a measly $500, that's like stealing, but if you can get people to fall for that, that's between you and them.
