I love old cars. I am so inspired by some of the beautiful pictures! I am fortunate enough to live close to Amelia Island and can visit the annual Concours d’Elegance. I take probably close to 1500 photos on the years I attend just so I can draw them.
This is a drawing I did in colored pencil of someone's photo from another site. (The wheel has since been fixed and more centered, though I haven't gotten around to uploading a recent pic) I wanted to ask permission of you guys if I would be free to draw your car photo? Let me know here if you'd let me and I'll check out your portfolio. There were some gorgeous ones!!

I don't have many car pix in my portfolio, but you are welcome to work from any of them. I like what you did with the one you posted.

Ironically, I just uploaded my most recent, a Blue and Gold Macaw right next to the Saab (the car in the above drawing) on my PB site.

The macaw on my portfolio page is Jules, a Catalina Macaw. He is a cross between a Blue & Gold, and Scarlet. Their colors are wonderful, and their disposition is very sweet and even. He calls me Pa, and asks for water when he wants a shower with the garden hose.
He was a freebee from someone who was moving to an apartment and could not keep him. He has been here about 4 years now.
