I couldn't post these earlier because of the freestudy ...

Here are my images from my most recent escapade in Scotland. As usual (for me anyway), the weather was great and I came back with a tan.

//members.shaw.ca/cpphotos3/Scotland/Ardnamurchan/

//members.shaw.ca/cpphotos3/Scotland/Trossachs/

//members.shaw.ca/cpphotos3/Scotland/Glencoe/

ETA: best viewed in IE 8 (maybe 7 - 6 has too many js issues) or FF 3+

Any feedback is welcome.

Where would all my camera gear go then? ;o)

I have a hard enough time fitting the gear, never mind stowaways though I did have a stowaway this time. He's brown and fuzzy and his name is Gimmi (at least that's what it was in Italy). He insisted on appearing in a few photos as proof of his travels.

Thanks Linda.

I noticed a marked improvement from my 2007 shots.

I owe a lot to the fellow who led the trip who is a Pro Landscape photog.

You're pictures look wonderful...but wow, I spend many a day up in Scotland researching while down in England...and I think I almost saw the sun, once.

I've been told it rains there on occasion. LOL

We did get the obligatory moody weather in Glencoe..... one afternoon. hehe

Jeez Colette, did you post that you were going to Mull? Talj and I where there the 1st week in July. I can get my little Brabus from Tobermory to Dervaig in 12 minutes on a good run but the better Rally drivers can do it at night in under 7 minutes.

If I had known you where going I could have told you how to get here..

The sun does come out there once in a while, that's the day before you see all the bright red Scots walking about (usually we're blue).

We were only in Tobermory for an afternoon. The rest of the time in the area was on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

Think Colette posted about this trip la while ago and we worked out she wouldnt be around for long or when we were visiting :( Or is my memory failing?

A piece of useless info for you Colette: The Ardnamurchan Peninsula is where Laird Ecce Signum and Lady Rinac own their very own patches of land ;o)

Oh well. I'll be back in Scotland next June. This time I may actually get to the Western Isles.

That part of my trip was replaced with the Trossachs and Glencoe this time. Not complaining. It was another absolutely amazing trip to Scotland.

Let us know when/if you plan on going to Mull as it would be great to meet up with you there! :)
