Yep. He sure would. We tried to send him off with an MP3 player but couldn't think of a way to recharge it. You know that military vehicles don't have cigarette lighters?

Guess they don't want them to blow themselves up accidently...or let that little orange glow give them away. Who knows? :o)

In some consumer-grade cars I think they're now being referred to as something like "universal power receptacle" in view of all the folks out there running their cell phones, laptops, fax machines, etc. off of them.

Yep, exactly. When I purchased my Chevy Silverado, it had THREE "cigarette lighters"! I asked the salesman what they were all for and that's what he said (what you said).

But I'd think the military could use access to 12 volt electronics, so I wonder why they don't have them? Probably to discorage our young (brave) soldiers from smoking. :)

But to actually light a cigarette, it requires that thingamabob to be pushed in to heat it up does it not? So theoretically as long as they aren't included, they would just be power outlets.

Must have stolen it from the Army. The Corps doesn't normally spend the extra money on the hardtop.

Yeah, a jet would be really cool. But this has some serious style. I think I would like to ride this "pimpin'" machine on the deserts of Iraq. If you're gonne be there, may as well do it in style.
