Hi again

Since some interest had emerged for the Formula DPC I want to run a pilot season to see how it will work and what problems could arise.

In this thread the rules have been explained, but here I will accept registration of Teams. This will be a short season 5 scoring rounds and will be split into 2 divisions of 10 assuming enough teams enter. Should there be massive interest I reserve the right to add further divisions or not. Also to save time I will mix the initial qualifying round with the first advantage round.

The qualifying competition will be the one starting next Sunday.

Those wanting to participate simply respond to this thread with their partners name and team name, I have taken liberty of entering those teams that already expressed interest in participating team names are substrings of usernames just let me know what it should be. Teams can apply for entry through 5th of July server time. Odd players wanting to participate but have no teammate may PM me and I will assign them to a partner.

Note there are minor rule changes that will serve to shorten the season. Scoring will also be calculated differently.

Just to clarify, "Michael Jackson Song/Lyrics" does not count towards this tournament, right? The challenge for the following Sunday is the one that counts for week #1?

mpeters and I would like to join this inaugural tournament of awesomeness. Team CA, or you can make a name for us if you like, maybe Team jmdpaentneerlss, umm maybe just Team CA. :P

Thats correct the one that counts is the one starting next sunday.

No problem name mergings only come in when no name is presented.
