I get that way with things sometimes, I think it's pretty natural. For me it just moves in cycles, although sometimes it takes a little extra push to get through. Here's an example, before I started participating at DPC I had barely touched my digital camera for a few months but the idea of submitting photos here got me excited for it again. Now I barely touch my film cameras, but I'm sure in time I'll rediscover my love for that too.
Another example for me is surfing. Surfing is by far my favorite thing to do, but for whatever reason all winter I was too lazy to put on a wetsuit and deal with the minor inconveniences of getting in the water. I had essentially given up on it all together. Then one day I actually forced myself to go and within 2 minutes I remembered why I love it so much and now I have the bug again and it's all I think about.
So, my advice is to just pick up the camera and take a picture of something. Just go for a walk or drive and look for something interesting and shoot. It might seem like a lot of effort at first, but It'll come back to you. Try not to psych yourself out by thinking "oh well, it won't come out right anyway" because a lot of times i've found that even when things go wrong they can still be great. Good luck!
btw, this is awesome
