Perhaps a US only observance, but Happy Mothers Day to all the fine ladies of DPC with children young and old.

And to those children and husbands -- be sure to honor that special woman every day, but perhaps just a little more today!

Yes, I have to share that sentiment.

I miss my Mom....she died when I was 20.

Everything that is good and decent about me I blame her for......8>)

We weren't going to have children, then after sixteen years Eleanor pwncakesauce came along.

Lisa is a wonderful mother!

Happy Mothers Day to all the DPC Mothers!

And Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers of DPC Addicts!

I sadly had to be out of town for work today, on mothers day, so I don't get to spend the day with my lovely Mother. But I gave her her gift early this year - I wanted to give her flowers that would never die, so I took some photographs of a beautiful lily and gave her the framed print. Too bad it doesn't smell like the real thing!

Happy Mother's Day to all! The weather has been perfect today so could not have asked for a better day to celebrate. Tonight we are going to see "Star Trek" hehehe. Hope you all found something fun to do today!

I know Mother's Day is almost over, but I wanted to throw my best wishes in too for all the mom's in our DPC-family. I hope you all felt as blessed as I did today :) Mothers Days have been hard for me the past several years since my mom died. But this year, I just felt so blessed by the two special mom's in my life: my daughters-in-law, and how lucky I am to have a mom role in their lives :) And my 2 sons have so filled up the empty place my mom left when she left.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I love DPC, because special days last twice as long, and you can be a day late with best wishes, and still be on time. Happy Mother's day to all the DPC mother's out there!

So how did folks spend the day?
My daughter's boss won 4 tickets to Walking with Dinosaurs and didn't want to go so she gave them to Beck, and the 2 kids and I went. I wouldn't have paid $65 to see it, but it was VERY cool.

Only problem was that they wouldn't let me take my camera in. I'd checked the linked website which said no flashs or video but cameras were fine. Unfortunately the arena's own rules don't allow anything "with detachable lenses" so Beck's S5 IS was fine. If I'd known that I could have taken my S2 instead :(
