Congratulations Nilesh! A well deserved win. In the three years or so I've been submitting to Betterphoto, I managed to win first once. It's quite hard, I'd say it's even harder than winning at DPC, and so a real accomplishment.

The Tamrac Sling bag you just won is fantastic too. I liked it so much, I bought the one above it in addition (the Sling 7), but I prefer the Sling 6! You will hardly know you are carrying around an SLR. You can carry the camera and one additional lens (like a 10-22 wide lens), some filters, a Cokin filter and holder, and an extra battery. When on vacation, I can carry that around all day, even wear it in a restaurant we stop into, and not even think about it (I hate putting the camera down in a restaurant--much more likely to forget it!) The beauty is, that unlike the 7, it really fits very snugly next to your body and has just the right amount of bulk. (On the other hand, cameras larger than the Rebel and the D80/D90 need not apply. It's snug!)

BTW - the wide version of my Manhattan Lights shot won one of the second place positions: //www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.asp?photoID=7990601

Manny Librodo was also in second here with a beautiful shot: //www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.asp?photoID=8025447&catID=32836)

Probably some other DPCers in second, I haven't look through them all yet....

That's terrific! I do not enter there consistently, but still have only made it as a finalist once in three years. I have several Editor Picks there, but no prizes for me.
You can be very proud of your win - and most of all the photo itself which is beautiful.

That's great, Nilesh! As Neil mentioned there are several other DPCers in there, too, including this one by njsabs2323.

Yes I agree it's really difficult to get at 1st place in this contest is tough one but yet I am still missing first blue on DPC.I don't know I am going to get another better success on betterphoto or not but will definitely like to get a blue on DPC :)

So get one already. How hard can it be?

Believe me it's not easy for me & I really miss it unless I will get my first blue! Sometimes I really hate to see my personal best not having any ribbon.
