I suggest that the site obtain the rights from the photographer to continue using the example photos submitted to illustrate any tutorials. These photos should be accessible even if the member no longer has an on-site portfolio. It is sometimes difficult to make use of a tutorial when it refers to examples that can no longer be viewed.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the TOS already grant such usage rights to the site -- Langdon just has to figure out an adjustment to the code to keep those images visible.

Maybe you can submit an administrative tick directly to him, noting which tutorials you've found to have broken links.
