I have PS CS2.
I was just in PS yesterday with no problems.
Today, both in RAW conversion, and inside PS, all I get is the white hand to move around the image.
I pressed every tool there is and all I get is the white hand.
I don't want the white hand, I want all my tools.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

Did that first thing.
Pushed every other key on the keyboard as well, no luck. |

Is the file locked/read-only? (Shouldn't matter, I know). Otherwise, I suggest a full restart -- that does seem to solve about 90% of computer problems ... |

I'll try the full restart.
Weird stuff. |

This has happened to me before - seems to happen randomly, but I've read it's a memory issue.
It has always resolved itself rather quickly - I usually shut down and restart and then it's repaired. |

Try hitting the spacebar; if that doesn't work, purge the PS prefs. |

I just did a total restart on my 'puter and it seems to have fixed the problem.
Thanks again. |

when I was building computers I told my clients, if something goes wrong. Reboot first and if that doesnt work, panic, calm down then call me :) |

Great -- you can send your royalty payment directly to Dell... ;-) |
